Personal Profile – Emmanuel Aidoo, Esq

Emmanuel has over 15 years’ work experience in the areas of ESG and Community Relations, Accounting, General Administration, Law and Corporate Governance Practice. He is a specialist in ESG and Community Relations Practice. Emmanuel is currently the Sustainability Manager of Asante Gold Bibiani Ltd in-charge of the Mine’s Social Investment Strategy. As part of his experience, he is practically conversant with the Mining and Environmental Regulations in Ghana, Conduct and Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment, Corporate Due Diligence, Resettlement, Environment and Social Due Diligence, Preparation of Corporate Scheme of Arrangement, Community Needs’ Assessment, drafting of Social Responsibility Agreements and In-depth understanding of Ghana’s Local and Traditional Governance Structures.

Emmanuel has high-level in-depth knowledge and practice in voluntary and involuntary resettlements as required by IFC standards and Ghanaian Legislations. He is currently the site lead for the Bibiani Mine’s Resettlement Project.

He has experience in managing Small Scale and Artisanal Mining operatives. Emmanuel was one of the consultants who worked on the “Artisanal and small-scale mining communication and social media strategy (2024-2029) – Presented to Ghana Extractive Industry Transparency initiative (GHEITI) of the Ministry of Finance, Ghana – August 2023.
